Logo unveiled for celebration of 100th anniversary of legendary Kazakh sniper Aliya Moldagulova
This year marks the 100th anniversary since the birth of Aliya Moldagulova, the legendary sniper and Hero of the Soviet Union, a brave Kazakh girl. In honor of this important date, an anniversary logo has been introduced, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of Aktobe region's akimat.

The Regional Department of Culture, Archives, and Documentation notes that the logo will serve as a symbol of respect for the war heroine's spirit and as a sign of preserving her name in the memory of future generations.
The logo features the image of Aliya, a Kazakh national ornament and an inscription "100 years."
All goods produced in Aktobe as part of the anniversary initiative will be decorated with this logo. The initiative is called to show that the memory of Aliya is honored not only in her homeland, but throughout Kazakhstan.
More than 100 celebratory events are scheduled at the regional level. The jubilee is included in the list of nationwide celebrations.
In honor of the anniversary, a series of restoration works have been carried out in three significant cultural and historical facilities including a club in the village where Aliya lived, “Aliya“ Patriotic Center and the Aktobe Regional Memorial Museum named after A.Moldagulova.
Earlier, it was reported that Kazakhstan plans to establish a jubilee medal to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Great Victory.
