List of hotels increased threefold for 10 years, Almaty Mayor

ALMATY. KAZINFORM The first international investment hotel forum has started its work today in Almaty. It gathered foreign experts from six countries of world.
"The number of hotels has increased in the city. There are 90 hotels in Almaty so far. The number of hotels grew threefold for the past ten years. The range of their services increased twofold to hit KZT 4,5 bln," Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov said. As stated there, centres for training world-class hotel staff were opened in the city. Foreign experts arrived from Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan will help Kazakhstan elaborate recommendations how to develop hotel business in the country and Central Asia at large.
