Legendary Kazakhstani boxer goes missing in Almaty

A legendary boxer and former European champion Serik Nurkazov went missing in Almaty, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to a recent post on the official Instagram page of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, Nurkazov was last seen on December 14 leaving his apartment.
The Almaty police and the Kogam special response unit are working around the clock to bring him home.
The 64-year-old Nurkazov was born in Karaganda region. The legendary Kazakhstani boxer is a silver medalist of the 1983 World Cup, bronze medalist of the 1981 Europe Cup and 1983 Europe champion.
