KZT 20 bln additionally allocated for agriculture in 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Financing of the agricultural sector in Kazakhstan will be increased by 20 bln tenge in 2015, Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Romin Madinov told at the CCS media briefing today.
"The draft law on budget adjustment for 2015 has been submitted to the Majilis, and I want to inform you that the financing by the Ministry of Agriculture will be increased by 20 bln tenge. This means that the Government and Parliament clearly understand that it is highly important to finance agriculture under these difficult conditions," Romin Madinov said.
The deputy emphasized that based on history, agriculture usually the one that successfully overcomes crises.
"In 2008, when the first global crisis hit the economies of the countries, the agriculture sector of Kazakhstan demonstrated growth of the total output and physical volume and financially," he added.
