Kyrgyzstan to implement first PPP project in railway sector
Kyrgyzstan plans to build a railroad line en Makmal-Markakol, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The National Agency for Investment has signed a public-private partnership agreement on the Trans-Eurasian Route with the National Kyrgyz Railway Company and All American Rail Group Global Infrastructure Partner LLC consortium.
Director of the National Agency for Investment Talantbek Imanov noted, that this is the first PP project in Kyrgyzstan’s railway sector.
"The total amount of investment is around $3 billion, which will let create new jobs, improve transport network and ensure economic benefit for the country in a long-term outlook," he said.
The project is expected to open new horizons for Kyrgyzstan’s transport system, improve transport connectivity with the neighbor countries and make economy more competitive in the international arena.

Earlier, it was reported that Kyrgyzstan plans to build eco-friendly city - Kemin.
