Kazakhstan to head UNESCO's Executive Board Committee on Conventions and Recommendations

ASTANA. October 8. KAZINFORM On October 3-5 as part of the 190th session of the UNESCO Executive Board the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris hosted a meeting of the Committee on Conventions and Recommendations of the Executive Board.
It unites 30 countries, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
Representative of Kazakhstan Assel Utegenova was elected chairwoman of the Committee on the recommendations of the members of the Executive Board and Committee.
Kazakhstan's chairmanship will last until the next meeting of the UNESCO General Conference next November.
