Kazakhstan to harmonize its standards with global requirements

"Kazakhstan chairs the Regional Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Certification. Also Kazakhstan is working closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission. Our country is a member of the 29 ISO Technical Committees," R.Satbaev added.

Delegations from nine countries took part in the sitting of the General Assembly of the Interregional Association for Standardization, which was established to promote standardization and its related areas in order to facilitate the exchange of goods and services as well as for cooperation in the fields of intellectual, scientific technical and economic activities between the IRSA member countries.
