Kazakhstan pockets 5 medals at Gori Senior European Cup 2026

Tolkyn Tursynakynova won silver in the women’s over 78 kg weight category.

Kanat Seilkhan (-66 kg), Symbat Tagay (-48 kg), Ayaulym Kalmyrza (-57 kg), and Karina Takiyeva (+78 kg) all earned bronze medals for Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan placed eighth in the overall team standings.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that Kazakhstan’s athletes have won two silver and two bronze medals in classical chess at the 20th ICCD World Deaf Team Chess Championship 2026 in Roquetas de Mar, Spain. The tournament brought together 120 athletes from 30 countries.
