Kazakhstan places 72nd in global women’s peace and security index
Kazakhstan was ranked 72nd out of 181 countries in the global Women, Peace and Security Index (WPS) for 2025-2026, Qazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The index is an international ranking that evaluates the status of women in countries around the world. It is based on 13 indicators grouped into three key dimensions: inclusion, justice, and security.

The final score is calculated using a normalized data system and geometric mean methodology, allowing all three dimensions to be balanced without overemphasizing strengths or weaknesses in only one area.
