Kazakhstan, FAO deepen cooperation on digital agriculture
Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in agricultural digitalization during an online meeting, Qazinform News Agency reports, citing Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture.
The talks focused on developing modern tools to monitor agricultural processes and integrating data collected by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with digital platforms and dashboards.

The sides also explored solutions for automating the collection, processing, and visualization of data, which could provide faster access to information on agricultural land and improve analytical and forecasting capabilities.

The discussions also covered ways to further improve digital tools and integrate them with existing agricultural information systems, helping make state monitoring and management of the sector more efficient.
Kazakhstan and FAO agreed to continue cooperation on digital solutions, infrastructure development, and knowledge sharing to improve data quality and enable more effective and timely decision-making in the agricultural sector.
