Kazakhstan defeats Thailand in Asian Games water polo

Kazakhstan’s men’s water polo team secured a convincing victory over Thailand in their third group-stage match at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, Qazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan dominated the match, winning 21-6 after four periods.

The Kazakh team had previously lost 19-11 to Japan before defeating Hong Kong 29-15.

Earlier, Qazinform reported Kazakhstan won the artistic swimming bronze at the 2026 Asian Games.
