Kazakhstan builds 217 schools and 655 medical facilities

The Kazakh Government continues to implement the President’s tasks aimed at modernizing key economic and social sectors, Qazinform News Agency reports.

217 schools have been built under the Keleshek Mektepteri (Schools of Future) project. More than 217,000 students across the country are studying at these schools.

655 primary healthcare facilities were built under the Rural Healthcare Modernization program.

In 2025, Kazakhstan had already commissioned 198 schools and 655 healthcare facilities under these national projects.

Medical assistance is now more accessible for 1 million residents of remote villages.

Specialized and high-tech medical services have been brought closer to over 4 million rural citizens.

Work continues on the Modernization of Energy and Utilities project. A new national project, Coal Generation Development, has been launched to strengthen energy security.

As a result, 6.3 million people now benefit from a more reliable heating supply.

The Affordable Internet project is expanding high-speed internet access. Millions of citizens, including those in rural areas, are now covered by 4G and 5G networks.

It was earlier reported, by the end of 2026, around 20 student dormitories are expected to be completed.
