Kazakh President, Russian Security Council Secretary discuss situation in Ukraine

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev today, Kazinform has learnt from the president's press service.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations in the sphere of security and international agenda, including the situation in southeastern Ukraine. Nursultan Nazarbayev and Nikolai Patrushev also touched upon economic cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and new threats related to the situation in the Middle East and Afghanistan. Earlier it was reported that Nikolai Patrushev will visit Kazakhstan to attend joint consultations of the security councils of Kazakhstan and Russia.
