Kazakh Parliament amends law on combating extremism and terrorism

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today's Majilis plenary session has considered amendments made by the Senate on the draft law "On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to counteraction to extremism and terrorism".
According to Maulen Ashimbayev, head of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security, the Senate made four amendments which do not change the concept of the bill and bring the document in compliance with the law. After discussion the Majilis deputies adopted the law.
