Kazakh MPs pass amendments to new Administrative Violations Code

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Senate, the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, has passed the law "On amendments to the Administrative Violations Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan" at the plenary session today.
"As you know, the new Administrative Violations Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed by the Head of State on July 5, 2014 will become effective on January 1, 2015. The Kazakhstani lawmakers have adopted 6 legislative acts containing amendments to the existing Administrative Violations Code since April 2014," said Majilis deputy Arman Kozhakhmetov, introducing the draft law. According to him, the bill has been drafted by MPs. The majilisman also noted that some draft laws amending the existing Administrative Code are currently under consideration of the Kazakh parliamentarians.
