Kazakh Deputy FM receives credentials from Vietnam’s Ambassador, highlights stronger ties
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov has received credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Kazakhstan Nguyen Thanh Le, Qazinform News Agency reports.
According to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, the meeting focused on issues of the Kazakh-Vietnamese strategic partnership, with particular attention given to the schedule of upcoming high-level visits and joint events.

Kuantyrov stressed that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to strengthening ties with Vietnam and is keen on expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation.
The sides also reaffirmed their readiness to continue close collaboration at multilateral platforms, including within the UN, CICA and other international organizations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Kuantyrov wished the Vietnamese diplomat success in his mission and fruitful work in Kazakhstan.
Previously, it was reported that the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of the Congo concurrently, Jean Galiev, was received by President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso at the Palace of the People on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials.
