Kazakh border guards win ‘silver’ at Sambo Championship (PHOTOS)

The competition was participated by 4 teams of border departments of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and the Almaty Academy of the Border Service under the National Security Committee. As a result, the 1st place went to the team from the Russian Federation. Kazakh border guards have won a silver medal and a bronze medal was grabbed by the team from the Kyrgyz Republic. "Taking into account the specificity of the Border Service, Council of Border Troops Commanders pays great attention to the development of sport. This year alone we have conducted many interdepartmental competitions," said Deputy Chairman of the Coordination Service under the CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders, Colonel Yuri Fedorov.
