Kazakh ballet school marks its 80th anniversary

ALMATY. KAZINFORM A concert dated to the 80th anniversary of the Seleznyov ballet school of Almaty city took place the other day in Almaty. Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov, artists, representatives of social and artistic intelligentsia attended the event, the mayor's press service said.
Yessimov read out the congratulations on behalf of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. "The Kazakh ballet school has rich history. Our country is proud of its pupils. Many of them became laureates and award winners of prestigious international ballet contests. Achievements and recognition of your pupils are the great merits of the whole teaching staff of all generations of your great ballet mastership school," the congratulatory message reads.
