Journalists lay flowers in front of French Consulate in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani people mourn together with France. Today, members of the media have laid flowers in front of the French Consulate in the city of Almaty.
"We feel deep sorrow for our French colleagues. Here are intertwined many topics including media freedom, politics, terrorist attacks. We feel for their colleagues and their families," said the initiator of the group of Kazakh journalists Marzhan Yelshibayeva. Recall, January 7 a deadly attack targeting a satirical magazine in Paris left 12 dead and 11 wounded. French President Francois Hollande announced Thursday, Jan. 8 a mourning day all over France.
