ALMATY. KAZINFORM - An Italian restaurant in Almaty has held a cooking master class for orphans from the Kovcheg orphanage.

The event was organized as part of the "Molodiye serdtsa" (Young Hearts) charity campaign. Children aged 12-14 were taught how to make pizza. The oldest of the kids also served as waiters at the restaurant. The master class brought together 49 children, including 11 disabled kids. "This master class will allow our children to gain knowledge and skills necessary to work in the catering industry. It will instill confidence in them and help make extra money when they will attend colleges or universities," director of the orphanage Marina Sugakova said.
