Head of Kazakh Religious Affairs Agency met with Almaty Akim

ALMATY. March 5. KAZINFORM Mutual activities on enhancing of interconfessional accord and countering religious extremism have been discussed today in Almaty at a meeting of Almaty Akim Akhmetzan Yessimov and Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif, the press service of the Akim reported.
Yessimov noted that Almaty is a big multinational and multiconfessional city.
The Agency Chairman arrived in Almaty for a working visit as part of the informative agitation group on explanation of the Kazakh President's Address "Social and Economic Modernization - the Main Vector of the Development of Kazakhstan."
