Good basis for enlarging Kazakh-French interparliamentary relations laid

Further development of Kazakh-French relations, particularly concerning the interparliamentary dialogue was discussed at the meeting.  

According to I. Adyrbekov, since the establishment of diplomatic relations the two countries created necessary conditions for successful cooperation in all fields of interaction. As the Kazakh Senator said, the good foundation has been laid for enlarging interparliamentary relations.

Jean-Yves Leconte congratulated the Kazakh side on the successful holding of the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and emphasized Kazakhstan's contribution to the global stability and security.

"French members of parliament are interested in the events taking place in your country. We take an active part in observing presidential and parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan," Jean-Yves Leconte said stressing the role of enhancing the bilateral relations.
