The solution, developed on the Smartestprep.com platform, allows high school students to prepare for the test in a format that closely replicates the real SAT experience.

The project was implemented with support from the Kazakh Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and the Ministry of Enlightenment.

The initiative reflects growing demand for accessible digital tools in education. It expands access to SAT preparation without imposing an additional financial burden on parents and students. While high-quality SAT preparation has often relied on paid courses and tutors, some of these resources are now available at no cost.

The training system includes more than 3,000 tasks from the official College Board question bank and covers the main sections of the exam – Reading and Writing and Math.

Users can select topics and difficulty levels to focus on specific knowledge gaps. The platform’s interface mirrors the digital SAT format, including question types and built-in tools such as calculators. This helps students become familiar with the exam structure in advance and reduce test-day stress.

The system analyzes user responses, identifies weak areas, and recommends additional exercises and explanations for those topics. After each session, students receive detailed feedback and can track their progress, revisiting challenging tasks and concepts. According to the developers, noticeable improvements in score appear after only a few practice sessions.

According to Laura Vaigorova, CEO of Smartestprep, these solutions are gradually transforming the educational approach.

Nowadays, technology enables what was once available only through expensive individual tutoring – personalized learning paths for every student. It was fundamentally important for us to make high-quality preparation more accessible. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry and the Ministry of Enlightenment, we created a solution that opens opportunities for schoolchildren across Kazakhstan, including in regions and rural areas where access to additional education is limited. Today, these tools allow students to prepare independently at their own pace and identify their weaker areas, she noted.

Experts note that the emergence of such tools could be part of a broader shift toward personalized education, in which technology helps adapt the learning process to each student, regardless of their location or circumstances.

Earlier, Qazinform News Agency reported that a Kazakhstani high school student had achieved the maximum score on the SAT, an exam taken annually by students worldwide, a feat accomplished by only a small percentage of them.
