Grok 3 was trained on the Colossus supercomputer, equipped with 200,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, providing a tenfold increase in computational power compared to the previous Grok 2 version.

Among the key innovations is the DeepSearch system, which allows real-time analysis of the internet to deliver accurate answers to complex queries. Its success is particularly notable in fields like mathematics, programming, and scientific research, where other AI systems often face limitations.

During its presentation, Grok-3 also introduced innovations in AI gaming, generating games like Tetris and Bejeweled. The goal is to explore the potential of real-time content generation.

Another distinctive feature of Grok is that it is not bound by political correctness and is not limited in its expression, allowing it to discuss a wide range of topics without censorship. This also applies to image generation. However, the lack of strict content restrictions has led to the creation of unacceptable material. For instance, users have used Grok to generate images depicting Elon Musk as a mass shooter and other public figures in controversial situations.

Grok 3 will be available in early access to X Premium+ subscribers ($50 per month). In the near future, a SuperGrok plan ($30 per month) is expected to launch, offering expanded access to DeepSearch and unlimited image generation features. Additionally, a voice mode is expected to be implemented within the next week.

The origin of the name "Grok" comes from Robert Heinlein's science fiction novel Stranger in a Strange Land. In the novel, the term signifies a deep, profound understanding of something.

Earlier, Kazinform News Agency reported that Elon Musk made a bid of $97.4 billion for OpenAI.
