Earthquake hits near Almaty city

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the MPV scale has been registered by a group of seismological stations near Almaty city this morning.
The quake hit the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 330 kilometers southwest of Almaty city at 4:16 a.m.
It had a depth of 5 kilometers.
