Driver crashes into California preschool classroom, 8 kids hurt

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. local time (2100 GMT), about 16 km north of downtown Los Angeles.

All injured children were taken to local hospitals for treatment and later released to their families.

Police said the incident appeared accidental, caused by a 79-year-old driver attempting a U-turn in the preschool’s parking lot.
