Domestic premiere of movie «Dream, dream...» completes World AIDS Campaign in Almaty

ALMATY. December 12. KAZINFORM - Today the office of the United Nations in Almaty has held a premiere of the film "Dream, dream ... " by the Kazakh director Ruben Kazarian.

The show was the final point of the World AIDS Campaign. The organizers of the event were the Republican Centre for the Prevention and Control of AIDS, UNAIDS and UNESCO.

The movie's theme is devoted to the current topic of society's attitude towards people living with HIV, discrimination experienced even by children. The film tells the story of a teenager with HIV. Despite his young age he had to deal with adult problems.

The movie was made with the support of the Global Fund to fight AIDS in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Its premiere completed the Global Campaign for AIDS in Kazakhstan. The event went on for months, from November 10 to December 11. "During this time in all regions of the country have been carried out flash mobs and various trainings aimed at improving awareness of HIV infection and increase tolerance towards people living with HIV", the promoters report.
