“The current government of Kazakhstan has been working for exactly 7 months. There are speculations that changes will occur in its composition after the referendum. Are you satisfied with the work of the Government?” Kazinform News Agency correspondent asked the President.

The Head of State noted that the Government is actively fulfilling the tasks set.

“In my opinion, the Government is working actively and diligently. It is fulfilling the tasks set by me as the Head of State. We have very intense work, which may not be visible to the media,” President Tokayev said, adding that he is constantly aware of all events going on the country.

“And of course, I point out the shortcomings in the work of both the ministers and the Government. But 7 months is a short period. The members of the government need to prove themselves. The main task is to find sources of economic growth in our country,” emphasized Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

At the end of the press briefing, the President expressed his respect for journalists, stating that a housing fund to help journalists obtain housing next yearhad been established.
