Celebrating graduation ends with death of a graduate in Almaty

"Celebration in Almaty of getting a diploma of a higher education ended in tragedy. The police officers arrested a 25-year-old resident of South Kazakhstan region, who in a fight with a knife gravely wounded a 24-year-old resident of the city, " the statement reads.

"It has been discovere that the tipsy group of young people, was marking getting a diploma in a cafe, went to a nearby store for more servings of alcohol. Having quarreled with the seller, the young people started fighting. Then the sailsman called for his friends to help him. During the scuffle a 25-year-old friend of the seller stabbed a former student, who died of the injuries before the arrival of the ambulance. The detainee is now in a temporary detention ", the press-service of the ministry says.
