Cambridge University delegation arrives in Almaty

ALMATY. November 29. KAZINFORM - Almaty Akim Akhmetzhan Yesimov has met with the professors of Cambridge University Montu Saxena and Hilbert Lonzarich. The event was also attended by the rectors of the universities and heads of relevant departments, the press office of the Akim reports.
Yesimov noted that Almaty is the center of higher education. The Akim mentioned that Almaty has business partnerships with more than 100 universities in the world.
"Every third Kazakhstani student and second undergraduate student is enrolled in our city. Knowledge, experience, organization of professors's work at Cambridge University may be useful for our scientists and heads of universities", said A.Yesimov.
Members of Cambridge University delegation told about their research studies and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation with Almaty.
