Bright future in hands of gifted and educated youth, Kazakh President
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with winners of international Olympiads, Qazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.
21 laureates, their teachers and mentors were invited to the solemn event. Pupils and students won six gold, 11 silver and four bronze medals in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, informatics, geography and linguistics.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the gifted youth on the outstanding results at the scientific competitions and expressed his sincere gratitude.
The Head of State emphasized that the efforts of Kazakhstani students have raised the country’s sky-blue flag and strengthened the country’s international prestige. He stressed the bright future of Kazakhstan lies in the hands of the talented and educated youth.
The President expressed confidence that they will create advanced technologies and make breakthroughs to contribute to the country's prosperity and global progress.
It was earlier reported, Kazakhstani winners of international olympiads to be granted up to 6.5M tenge.
