Border patrol: Russian man tried to smuggle 20 t of tin

ASTANA. KAZINFORM -In West Kazakhstan region "Zhaisan" border control guard have detained a citizen of the Russian Federation, according to the Border Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.
The man was driving from Kazakhstan to Russian Federation with 20 t load - non-ferrous metal. The man did not have relevant certificate and a license for export of tin which total weight was 20 tons. The estimated value of the goods was about KZT 40 000 000. The investigation is underway.
