Karagoishin announced that in 2026, the Holding will channel around 3 trillion tenge into supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through guarantees, subsidies, and concessionary loans, reinforcing its commitment to a robust SME ecosystem.

Key priorities include improving capital access, supporting startup growth, and modernizing existing enterprises.

The development of small and medium-sized businesses is one of the key priorities, as the sector ensures economic activity, creates jobs, and contributes to the growth of the regional economy, Karaguishin said on the sidelines of a joint session of the Parliament chambers.

The Holding continues to enhance its support infrastructure, with a unified front office serving as a key component of its comprehensive financial and non-financial initiatives.

The Damu Fund will provide a full range of services across the regions for all instruments of the Holding and its subsidiaries - this includes export and guarantee tools. They will advise all our entrepreneurs. Damu itself operates through second-tier banks. Essentially, it will be a consulting officer who will help our entrepreneurs, said the chairman.

Beyond advisory services, the unified front office plans to introduce business training programs, with a pilot phase currently underway in Astana.

Furthermore, the official reported that the Holding exceeded its 2025 targets, achieving a total financing volume of 10.4 trillion tenge against the planned 10 trillion. So, the Baiterek Holding has financed 77 large-scale projects; supported 27,400 SME projects and 131 exporters; delivered assistance to 7,200 agricultural producers for spring sowing and harvesting operations; provided 11,400 units of agricultural machinery via leasing; offered housing to 77,500 thousand families, including 11,600 applicants on the waiting list.

In 2026, the Holding will sustain its 8 trillion tenge financing target for the real economy, with over 50 percent of these funds channeled via second-tier banks.

Earlier, Qazinform reported Baiterek Holding is to spend 2.41 trillion tenge on housing construction support in 2026.
