Arman Issagaliyev named Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan
By a decree of the Head of State, Arman Issagaliyev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Qazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
Arman Issagaliyev was born on September 13, 1972, in Almaty.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (1994); Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco; and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt (1996).
Arman Issagaliyev is a seasoned Kazakh diplomat who has held senior positions across the Middle East and North Africa. His career includes assignments in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
From 2014 to 2017, he was the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates (UAE).
From 2017 to 2020, he served as Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Egypt, a non-resident ambassador to Algeria and Tunisia, before being appointed as ambassador to Qatar in September 2020.
Earlier, it was reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed decrees appointing new ambassadors to Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom and Romania.
