Anthony Hopkins, Sam Smith and Weezer unveil new albums

Anthony Hopkins releases Life Is a Dream, his first album following his signing with Decca Classics. The record brings together orchestral compositions Hopkins has written over the past six decades.

Cruz Beckham makes his debut with the EP Wear & Tear. The 21-year-old is the youngest son of former England footballer David Beckham and fashion designer and former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham.

Chaka Khan returns with Curious Subject, a new single co-written with Sia and Greg Kurstin. The track is taken from Khan's upcoming album Chakzilla, due September 21.

Sam Smith releases Hazel Eyes, the fifth studio album. The 12-track record is described as a deeply personal and intensely romantic project inspired by Smith's relationship with the partner.

Weezer unveil Weezer (The Gold Album), their 20th studio album. The record explores themes of middle-aged indecisiveness and personal vulnerability.

Carly Rae Jepsen shares Motivation, the fourth single from her upcoming 24-track double album Day and Night, due September 18, 2026.
