Almaty unveils Kazakh artist's jubilee exhibition

ALMATY. January 11. KAZINFORM The jubilee exhibition of artist Sabur Mambeyev featuring his 50 works has opened in Almaty.
Mambeyev belongs to the generation of the artists graduated from the Moscow and Leningrad higher educational institutions in the 40s and 50s of the 20th century. They laid the foundation for the national school of painting. His major works are "In the Mountains", "A Black Kimono", "At the Yurta", "A Girl at the Window", "In My City", "Spring", "A Girl in Black", a portrait of M.Auezov, "A Shepherd's Daughter", "A Girl in Blue".
