Almaty underground equipped with metal detectors

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty underground is now equipped with metal detectors, Kazinform correspondent reports.
"The new detectors at the underground are an extra layer of security for passengers," said press secretary of the Almaty city underground Aigul Yeshmagambetova. 5 million passengers used the underground in 2012, 6.3 million - in 2013, and 6.8 million - in 2014. Two new stations Sairan and Moskva are to be commissioned this year.
