Almaty readies to celebrate the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan

Starting from November 29 the cinema will screen documentaries and feature films about the Head of State. The city libraries will hold exhibitions of the books by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and various editions devoted to the Leader of the Nation. Special photo exhibitions, roundtable discussions and campaigns with the participation of ethnic and cultural organizations will be organized. Concerts, various sport activities are also planned around the city.

Besides, Almaty will host conferences, seminars and meetingsб devoted to the activities of the Head of State involving reps of political parties, NGOs, veterans, public figures, workers of art and culture, youth, as well as charitable events for war veterans, the disabled, orphaned children and needy families.

The main eventб dated to the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan, December 1, will be held at the Medeu sports complex.
