Almaty Prosecutor's Office invalidates 92 website advertising alcohol

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty Prosecutor's Office ruled 92 foreign websites, advertising alcohol, illegal.
Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of January 1, 2004 "On Mass Media" prohibits advertising alcoholic beverage. In addition, it is prohibited the promotion of ethyl alcohol and alcohol products. Court's decisions have satisfied 24 applications made by prosecutors. Ninety two foreign media, placing alcohol advertising, have been declared illegal.
