Almaty people urged to stay at assembly areas until 04:00 pm

Director of the National Seismic Research and Monitoring Scientific Centre Daulet Sarsenbayev urged Almaty people to stay calm and stay at assembly areas until 04:00 pm, Kazinform News Agency reports.
As earlier reported, a quake was recorded at 11:22 am. He said aftershocks may occur but with less strength of shaking. The commission has convened to evaluate the seismic situation. The results of the conclusion of the commission will be made public later.
