Almaty mayor congratulates WWII veterans on behalf of President

"Dear veterans of the Great Patriotic War! Let me warmly offer you my sincere congratulations on the forthcoming New Year! In 2015 we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Your generation has set the example for our youngsters and earned tremendous respect for your heroic deeds during the war. I would like to wish you good health, energy, many happy returns of the day and wellbeing," the President's congratulatory message reads. Mayor Yessimov stressed that all veterans will get New Year's presents from the Head of State. Earlier it was reported that Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev approved the plan of events to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in Kazakhstan.
