Almaty Mayor and Italian Ambassador discuss economic ties development

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty Akim Akhmetzhan Yesimov has received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Stefano Ravanyana, the press office of the Mayor informs.
Mayor noted the high level of cooperation between Italy and Almaty. Thus, 69 joint ventures and 57 companies with Italian capital are registered in the city. In January-August 2014 the trade turnover between the city of Almaty and Italy increased by 7% compared to the same period in 2013 and amounted to USD 289.3 million.
