Almaty industrialization map includes 28 projects worth KZT 531 billion

Head of the city said that he first five-year plan of the state program on Forced Industrial-Innovative Development has completed this year. At present preparations are being carried out to launch the second five-year plan. Akim also noted that in 2013, the real growth of production in manufacturing industry compared to 2008 reached 151%. "High-tech industry is rapidly growing. Machinery - 120.8%, chemical industry - 127.9%, manufacturing of electrical equipment - 220%, furniture industry - 174.1%. Almaty city's industrialization map included 28 industrial and innovative projects worth KZT 531 billion. The projects will created more than 9 thousand jobs during the construction period and 5 thousand jobs during operation," Akhmetzhan Yesimov said. In turn, Minister for Investment and Development Issekeshev stressed the need for a joint action plan in order to coordinately solve the problems posed by the Head of State.
