ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Almaty does a lot of work on transition to the green economy, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev told at the presentation of gas-powered buses on Friday in Almaty.
"A great work is being done on transition to the green economy throughout the country, and now we see how Almaty is moving in this direction headed by its Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov. The growth of the number of environmentally friendly transport in Almaty will improve the ecological situation in the city," B. Sagintayev said. According to him, the environmentally friendly transport will allow the city to more actively and quickly transit to the green economy
