Almaty center to become pedestrian in future

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - It is planned that the center of Almaty will become pedestrian in future, N. Nazarbayev said during the meeting with the residents of Alatau district in "Alatau" concert hall.
"The main problem of the city is its ecology. It must get better than it is now. In order to do it, we purchase new special buses and use gas instead of petrol in the cars. We also plan to make the center of the city pedestrian. We are now working to make it a reality," the president noted.
