Almaty boasts highest birth rate in New Year's first week

ASTANA. KAINFORM - More than 200 babies came into this world from 1 January through 5 January 2015 in the city of Almaty, the press service of the city healthcare department says.
From January 1 to 5 2015 in seven maternity hospitals of the city were born 284 children, 140 of which are boys and 144 - girls. Most newborns came to the world in the Center of Perinatology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. There were born 66 kids including 33 boys and 33 girls.
