Almaty bid to host UEFA Final Four

ASTANA. December 2. KAZINFORM - Almaty "Kairat" has filed an application for hosting the Final Four of the UEFA Cup which will take place in April next year, sports.kz reports.
The most likely venue of the event is Baku where the Final Four was not yet performed. The 2012 Final Four was held near Barcelona, in 2011 in Almaty and Moscow hosted the event in 2008.
The city to host the Final Four of the UEFA Cup will be known on December 12 in Bilbao at the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee.
