Almaty-Baiserke-Talgar gas pipeline launched

TALGAR. KAZINFORM Almaty region governor Amandyk Battalov and KazTransGas JSC director general Serik Sultangaliuly have attended today a solemn launch of the Almaty-Baiserke-Talgar gas pipeline to transport 2,4 bln cu m a year.
Construction of the 64,4 km long gas pipeline started back to early 2010. The gas trunk line worth KZT 7,8 bln will provide more than 60 rural settlements with 380,000-strong population with gas and up to 600,000 people in the future.
