Al-Farabi Kazakh National University steps to eradicate bribes at exams

Preparations for the campaign started this October through the analysis and development of competency exam questions. Examination papers were checked after being encoded by an independent commission consisting of leading professors and excluding the faculty members that taught a subject.

The examination process was controlled using video cameras, which enabled to detect violations online (the use of crib sheets, cell phones, etc.).

All the above activities are components of innovative educational and professional programs, which are being introduced in the university in the 2013-2014 academic year and are based on competence- modular training with account of experience of the world's leading universities of the United States, Germany, France, etc.

Representatives of youth organizations of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were involved in the holding of examinations.
