7 projects of Industrial Zone approved in Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Today Almaty under the chairmanship of Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yessimov has held a meeting of the Council on the selection of investment projects eligible for inclusion in the Industrial Zone in Alatau district.
In particular, there has been considered a number of projects in the sectors of construction, food industry and engineering. A.Yessimov said that export orientation and import substitution must comply with environmental standards. A thorough environmental impact assessment is an important point of the process of considering applications. In conclusion, there have been approved seven projects totaling 72 363,6 million tenge. According to preliminary estimates, the projects will create up to 1.5 thousand jobs.
